But when they turned into Amoco, they adopted something that looks a lot more like the original Standard Oil logo. Interesting. The other threat I want to talk about here in narratives is Rockefeller and Standard Oil as an organization. Rockefeller as a person is really like the prototype of so much of American culture today.
