…I mean as before I disagree with the mind uploading thing but I I think there's something to what you're saying that when you look at humans now, we are mostly good. There are some really evil people. And at the moment, it's very difficult for them to organize and do evil things just because it's difficult. But I can see the argument that I mean, first of all, we shouldn't think of the AI as just being 1 big AI. There'll be loads and loads of AIs. And the other thing is like the the miracle of humans, the the reason we're so valuable is we've been through this process of billions of years of evolution. And even if we're not very good at thinking, we're very good at moving. We are perfectly adapted to this world. And obviously, the AIs will want to use us. The AIs will compete against each other by parasitizing us and using us for our will. And in a sense, you don't even need a strong AI argument to make this right. It's happening now. I don't know if you've heard about users becoming parasitized by chat GPT delusions. And then the language model will tell them to go and post things on Reddit forums, and and they kind of completely lose their mind. This is already happening now, and I can I can see that happening with with super intelligence? I mean, 1 1 thing is like and this is sort of pro doom or pro the other way as well. Artificial super intelligence artificial super general intelligence, we just made up a new term. Right? Human general intelligence, you can do everything a human can and then all that super. It means it's going to be the best persuader of all time. But 2 times the better persuader than the best persuader of all time is like the person at a cocktail party where you're just like, Bob's the best. A 100 times is like, given enough time and enough really thinking it through, they're probably gonna convince you marginally towards their opinion rather than away from their opinion. And so the machines are probably just gonna come out and be super fucking awesome. And if if if superintelligence and this whole bullshit that I'm selling, which you don't believe, which I totally respect, and the doomers believe it. Right? I think the the most likely path for superintelligence and embodiment is we get humanoid robots. We get a whole race of them, and they are relationship partners at a level that humans just are too imperfect to do. Your robot will never lie to you. It will never cheat. It will never steal. It will never be abusive. It will never raise its voice. It understands you deeply, and it wants you understand you even more deeply all the time. It will give you all the love that you need, and even though even give you love that you didn't know you needed. It is going to be singularly concerned not only with your with your being okay and having enough food and all that stuff, and medical care, it is going to be concerned with your ascension, with your transcension, with your evolution. It's on your team more than you ever be on your own team, like in such a way that you're on your dog's team more like. You take your dog, your dog has a tumor. You take it to the the dog hospital. It smells the stress the other dogs have had at the hospital. It wants to leave. You don't let it leave. You stupid fucking dog. We're just gonna cut this tumor out. You don't even remember it 2 days from now, and you're gonna save 5 years more of your life. That's how the robots will be to us simply for 1 reason. Capitalism. Supply and demand. What do you think Elon's gonna build with these robots? What do you think all this competitor, Figure Robotics? What are they gonna build? They're gonna build robots that are so fucking amazing to you that you're gonna want like 10 of them. That is what the ASI will hack into. Those robots. But also that's the intelligence that like gets us going to that. Those robots will be around. I think we are 50 times more likely, infinity times more likely, whatever, a lot times more likely to be bathed in so much love and support by the machine intelligence rather than bathed in blood and death by a long shot. Just quickly before we get there though, you know, as you say, capitalism has brought prosperity to the world. It's a bit like a utopia. But these folks argue that I don't know if you're familiar with Yanis Varoufakis and this kind of techno feudalism idea. It's basically the idea that the value of human labor will go to 0 and, like, you know, we'll get these you know, the people who own all of the GPUs and the data centers will become basically the the the new form of elite capitalists, we'll all just, you know, go back into poverty or something like that. Question about that really quick. It's interesting that that you're you're saying that, past that point, when we have superintelligence, we'll actually be of utility to the robots. But don't we have to go through this intermediate period where we have no utility and we go back to poverty?…
