If you're in the browser, a server on Amazon (let me tell you) isn't going to cost it. We had to figure out how to work our magic. No joke, this took nearly two years of time to figure out how to download, store, and index the email in the browser such that when you search for an email, yes, it is searching remotely on your Gmail server, but it is also simultaneously searching in the browser and merging these search results in real time.
