In December 14, 2002 to be exact, less than six months later, several former PayPal-ers led by Reid Hoffman ban together and they form a new company and they call it LinkedIn. So they started in December and then they worked really quickly and they launched an MVP very quickly, especially again this is pre-AWS time, they launched an MVP in May of 2003, and it is a social network. Social networks are hot then.
