There are plenty of official claims that during the Soviet Union, people simply didn’t believe. But now, today, “the war is okay” is, for the most part, the winning message in Russia — I think. It’s hard to tell from this distance. Maybe it’s as you said — under-the-cover imperialism coming to the fore again.…
