I agree. It’s a pretty good string arrangement. You’re right, he plays it with taking the best melodic phrase from that string arrangement from Phil Spector. I think he was upset at Spector just more generally for having the arrogance to come in and change the Beatles’ music in any way without Paul’s permission. Paul hated anybody who was going to mess around with the Beatles and his music without his say so. I understand why he was angry, but I think you’re right.
