Romania used to cross down and have a little bit more of what’s now the Bulgarian coast. There’s a piece of southern Dobruja, I think, that they swapped. But as a whole, the river — it used to be the frontier of the Roman Empire for a long time. It’s still a solid Bulgarian-Romanian border, a real linguistic frontier.
