He has written what I think is one of the very best books of the last 10 years. It’s called Winnie and Nelson: Portrait of a Marriage. He is, in my view, one of the most underrated — in North America, at least — writers and thinkers. I like all of his books. Thin Blue and The Number are two others I would recommend.
