…At the Yale Political Union, who beat you the most often in those debates, if anyone? I was pretty good. I had a roommate who was also a member of the Yale Political Union. I was right of center in those days. He was left of center, and he was very, very eloquent and very smart. His name is David Murphy. He then became a partner at Wachtell Lipton, which is literally the leading law firm in the country, the most, most profitable law firm by far. He now does arbitration, and he’s still a formidable debater. We’re still very much in touch.
