I’m not a person, I would say . . . I’ve had to cultivate my emotional intelligence. It doesn’t come natively to me the way it does to one of my brothers — or both of my brothers, actually. But I do think the ability to understand what’s going on in someone’s person, and the ability to tell fake from real smiles, is probably really important. And we talk a lot about empathy, and empathy is one component of emotional intelligence, but only one component of it. But there are some games that you can play in collaborative — looking at collaboration . . . Should doctors be made less central in medicine?
