To the extent that Substack would not be a convenient place to get payments from to begin with, that's definitely a thing. And also... You wouldn't charge for the newsletter if Substack hadn't made it super easy? Yeah. And also, if I do an ad, I wouldn't even know how to begin with getting the money, if I didn't already have an LLC through Stripe with the dissociative bank account, that I'm going to get the money through. So yeah, probably counterfactually responsible for a lot of the monetization.
