…Sociologically, how does New York City finance differ from London finance? You’ve done things in both worlds, right? There’s a feel to it in London. It’s different. Yes, it’s a little more buttoned up and much more banker-like than entrepreneurial. America — I would say New York and California have a little bit less of the banker energy and more the swashbuckling investor energy. Even in New York — a lot of the history of the finance in New York were pure swashbucklers. You have a little bit of that energy, even though we don’t do the same thing at all. I don’t do the same thing as Paul Tudor Jones at all. I don’t do the same thing as Henry Kravis at all. Taking really big bets, being out there — it seeps into the culture here, whereas in the UK, almost the opposite is true, or had been true when I was there.
