All of the things that I learned in a very good undergraduate business school did not actually seem to be used in the day-to-day. Maybe it was because I was a lowly analyst at an investment bank. If I had worked at a hedge fund, I would have been enthralled by seeking alpha. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to do that as an analyst who just put together pitch decks and built financial models in Excel. I learned that I wanted to take risks, and I couldn’t wait to take those risks, so I did not spend very long on Wall Street. It was less than two years that I actually worked on Wall Street.
