Final question — what will you do next? I’m not sure what I’ll do next. I’m thinking about a developmental history of the UK because I’ve never written about my own country, and I think there are a number of things in the development of the UK that are not spelled out particularly clearly in what is generally a very good literature. There’ve been some excellent books written about the UK economy, but I think there are one or two things that I’d like to explore more that haven’t really been covered. I think it’s also partly that I feel like I’ve done a lot of traveling, and I’d like to not travel for a while. Travel in the UK though, right? That’s travel too.…
