I think when in a corporate context and maybe the world forces you to behave, you’re supposed to be a certain kind of way, there’s some aspects, and it’s a really beautiful aspect to preserve and to celebrate in academia is you’re just allowed to be childlike in your curiosity and your exploration. You’re just exploring, asking the biggest questions. The best scientists I know often ask the simplest questions. First of all, there’s probably some confidence there, but also they’re never going to lie to themselves that they understand something that they don’t understand. So even this idea that Newton didn’t understand the apple falling from the tree, had he lived another couple hundred of years, he would’ve invented relativity, because he never would’ve lied to himself that he understood it. He would’ve kept asking this very simple question. And I think that there is this childlike beauty to that, absolutely.…
