Transcript context
…Before we move on from Vegas, obviously, you were a dyed-in-the-wool computer geek. Sneaking into COMDEX, that's amazing. Was there anything presaging your soon-to-be future career in front of the camera? Did you do drama in high school? No. I think I was the most shy kid growing up and just didn't have a ton of friends in high school. I don't even know if this holds true today, but back then, it was not cool to be into computers. You got made fun of a lot and didn't have a lot of friends. We were definitely not the popular kids in school and got picked on. I didn't apply to work at TechTV to be in front of the camera. I just wanted to be behind the scenes. I was setting up all the technical demos and if they needed a certain version of Linux installed, I would install that, and just make sure that things were moving smoothly in that regard. It was just by chance that I ended up on camera. Do you remember your break? The moment where someone was like, hey, Kevin, you should be on-air talent?…
