…Now fast-forward to age 16. You’re in high school. All of a sudden, you’ve become an options trader. How did that happen? My dad was options trading with a group called tastytrade, just self-taught, and I was really interested in it. I was like, “What is this?” I watched him do it, and he was like, “Do you want to try?” I self-taught myself. It was fun because we had something to chat about, and then I did that for an entire summer as a summer job, and I was really bad at it, but I gave it a shot. And I ended up writing a blog called Scanlon on Stocks, where I talked about my options trading experience. That was my first foray into internet writing, and it was enjoyable. I wouldn’t recommend it, but I learned a lot about how markets function. I didn’t even know until I got to school that you could major in finance. Then I got to school, and I was like, “I’m going to be an engineer.” Then I was like, “Oh, you can do this.” It was cool. How efficient do you think the options market is?…
