…What is the non-apocryphal, as you remember it, even if it's like a bland, the real what happened? This is the truth. This is exactly how it went down. I don't know if I've ever told the full thing, but I'll just do the quick version of it. Basically, what happened is there was a site out there called Delicious that was created by Joshua Schachter that was all about social bookmarking. He would bookmark things and he would count the number of bookmarks on things. This was one of the very first Web 2.0 properties. It would surface interesting bookmarks. But it wasn't news because people didn't typically bookmark news. They would bookmark things that they wanted to return to later. I would see that and I was like, wow, it's surfacing cool stuff here. I wonder what this would look like if you applied it to everything. That was one piece of it. The other piece of it was that I did have lunch, but it was with CmdrTaco who's the founder of Slashdot. He came and he was a guest on the show. When I had lunch with him... And this was on The Screen Savers?…
