What is his theory of why large organizations are so bad at managing the low-level tech? Or is it just a literary device that does not hold true in practice?” I think it’s largely the latter. It’s a great literary device. It’s hard to write a compelling story about a giant organization. It’s a lot easier to write one about a small group, where you’ve got different personalities interacting with each other, and you get to know them as individuals. I think actual real-world examples of that happening are somewhat few and far between. Now, in the middle of all these conversations, we have a segment, overrated versus underrated.
