You could argue that cryptocurrencies — are they a zero-sum or not? Some people think that they’re complete zeros, and they’re worth nothing, and people are buying these things at their great peril. Other people think that they actually provide a service where people don’t want to have US currency or other foreign currencies. They have something on the side that’s a different kind of currency.
