…What if, like, I say that I have more faith in normal people than you do to toss DNA out the window as soon as somebody offers them a happy, healthier life for their kids? I’m not even making a moral point. I’m just saying I don’t know what’s going to happen in the future. Let’s just look at the evidence we have so far, humans. If that’s the evidence you’re going to present for something that’s out of distribution and has gone orthogonal, that has actually not happened. This is evidence for hope. Because we haven’t yet had options as far enough outside of the ancestral distribution that in the course of choosing what we most want that there’s no DNA left.…
