…On what? I think there are many themes in this book and in my previous book, People, Power, and Profits, where I didn’t have time or space to fully articulate my views. I think the problem of rent-seeking, which I talked about in The Price of Inequality and I talk about in People, Power, and Profits, has become an increasingly important issue. It has meant that there’s a big divergence of what gives rise to the wealth of nations, and what gives rise to the wealth of particular individuals. Trying to understand what is, in the 21st century, the basis of the wealth of nations, and what gives rise in the 21st century to the wealth of individuals, and how they’re similar and how they’re different, seems to me a very interesting question that I want to think about.
