Say you were in one of the less liberal parts of Eastern Europe or the Balkans, and the slogan was “Humor over rumor.” Do you think it would work as well as it has in Taiwan? Or this would be nastier and less empathetic? We know that humor is not the same as sarcasm, for example, or as toxic attacks that make fun of someone.
