And once I could, I read it right away. Last question — what will you do next? [laughs] In part, it probably depends on internal questions at The Times and playing around with different day-job possibilities. I think one interesting question raised by the age of the internet is not just whether we’re transitioning to a future where we’re just writing for the AIs, but also the shift from the written word back to oral culture in different ways.
