I think that I was not convinced from the arguments that we could not have a system of sort of checks on this the same way you have checks on smart humans that it would try to deceive us to achieve its aims. Any more than smart humans are in positions of power. Try to do the same thing. For a year. What are you going to do with that year before the next generation of systems come out that are not held in check by humans because they are not roughly in the same power intelligence range as humans? Maybe you can get a year like that. Maybe that actually happens. What are you going to do with that year that prevents you from dying the year after?…
