…Do people in the Urals seem happy to you? I know it’s a complex question, but what’s your sense of the actual living standard? I saw there were rich and poor, and there were people in the middle. I don’t think that people were happy with the regime. A lot of the people that I was hanging out with were not happy with the regime, for sure, and that was before the Ukraine war.
