Andrej Karpathy points out that a catastrophic coding mistake, like breaking an important system every seven years, would be much easier to achieve in terms of wall clock time compared to self-driving.
In fact, in terms of wall clock time, it would be much less than seven years because you're constantly outputting code like that.
