I encourage the audience to think about the relationship between thinking and Go via MCTS and search, and how it relates to LLMs. I think there’s something quite profound there, and probably underexplored just because Go has been relatively underexplored compared to the boom in LLMs. It’s not to say that I think we should have trees in our LLMs, but there is some very interesting duality between them. You can actually do a lot of research on Go, MCTS, and reasoning with very small budgets. So that’s very exciting. Awesome, Eric. Thanks for doing this.…
